MODERNISATION – Very disappointingly the less than 32% of clubs respondied to the recent Vote (…but all Warwickshire County clubs voted?) Yet now we must take off the blinkers and all elements work cooperatively for a much improved athletics scene.

To repeat Warwickshire County A A wishes to be proactive for change and needs YOUR concern and support.

Already dialogue has been opened with the interim Chairman of the West Midlands ‘Hub’ (John Graves) and you may also be aware that the newly appointed Chief Executive for England Athletics is Dr. Alan Harrison, a Timekeeper for Stratford Upon Avon Athletic Club.

The Association’s Annual General Meeting at Coventry Godiva’s Headquarters at 7.30pm on Wednesday 30^th November is an early opportunity to demonstrate your interest. Look forward to meeting you there!

CROSS COUNTRY – A chance to represent Warwickshire at the Midlands 7 (Men) and 5 (Women) on Saturday 17^th December 11.00am, Wreake Valley, Leicestershire. GET YOUR ENTRY IN

OUR ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Burbage Common (with Leicestershire) on Saturday 14^th January 2006. Please support what should be a good day and ensure you enter WELL before Christmas

ROAD – Reminding you that the WARWICKSHIRE OPEN ROAD RELAYS will be held on Saturday 18^th March 2006 at Sutton Park.

RUGBY & NORTHAMPTON A C will therefore promote the ‘Draycote 5’ on 1^st April
