INTER-COUNTIES CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPS

WOLLATON PARK – NOTINGHAM

SATURDAY 5^th FEBRUARY

A strong Warwickshire contingent produced our best overall results for many years. Congratulations to all of our teams and their managers.

Most of our teams are improving and there is a good possibility that they will all finish in the top ten next year. We are establishing ourselves as a top six county overall.

We hope you all enjoyed the day and will be keen to return for even more success next year.

Senior Men

Champions – a tremendous effort

1^st Glynn Tromans (Cov.G) winner for a record 5^th time

4^th Steffan White (Cov.G) making a welcome return, also selected for Worlds.

6^th James Walsh (Leam.) reserve for Worlds and what a finish to a great winter for James.

Excellent support from Mark Miles (19^th), Garry Blackman (23^rd), Henry Hammond (89^th), Olly Harradence (117^th) and John Muddeman (162^nd).

U17 Men

1^st Lee Carey (Nun.) following up with another title when winning the English Schools 7 days later.

Sen. Men - 1st

U20 Men - 9^th with a young team.

U17 Men - 11^th and only 65 points behind 4^th place.

U15 Boys - 7^th

U13 Boys - 16^th

U20 Women – failed to finish a team but well done to the three brave girls who battled it out.

U17 Women - 5^th and only 39 points behind 2^nd place.

U15 Girls - 6^th

U13 Girls - 11^th.

In all we had twelve top 20 finishers.
